The Makino U6 H.E.A.T. Extreme is an advanced wire electrical discharge machining (EDM) system designed for fast, high-precision cutting of electrically conductive materials. The machine achieves rapid feedrates by utilizing coated wire up to 0.016” (0.400 mm) in diameter and supports fine, precise machining with wires as thin as 0.004” (0.100 mm). Its control features, multi-pass machining options, and automation elements support both productivity and consistent surface quality.
